Light Engine LLC ("Light Engine", "we", "us", or "our") operates https://lighttracer.org, Light Tracer Render, account features, rendering tools, software delivery, support, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use the Service.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use. If you do not want us to process personal information as described here, do not use the Service.

Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

• Account information, such as name, email address, password, company name, country, and account settings.
• Commercial and license information, such as product license type, subscription status, transaction ID, invoice details, payment status, and purchase history.
• User content and files, such as 3D models, materials, textures, images, project data, comments, reports, and other files or information you upload, submit, or generate through the Service.
• Support and communications information, such as messages you send to us, support requests, survey responses, and marketing preferences.
• Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, browser version, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, session identifiers, access times, rendering or API activity, error logs, and approximate location inferred from IP address.
• Cookie and similar technology information, such as analytics identifiers, session cookies, CSRF tokens, cookie-consent status, and other browser storage used to operate, secure, measure, or improve the Service.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or payment card numbers through the Service. Do not upload sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your use of the Service.

How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, upload files, make a purchase, contact us, subscribe to communications, or otherwise use the Service. We also collect information automatically through server logs, cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies. We may receive purchase and license information from payment providers and e-commerce partners.

How We Use Personal Information

• to process uploaded files, generate renders, provide downloads, and support Service functionality;

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect forms and sessions, remember cookie-consent choices, operate Service features, and understand how the Service is used. We use Google Analytics to help measure website traffic and usage. Google Analytics may collect information such as IP address, device and browser details, pages visited, referring pages, and interactions with the Service. Payments

Light Engine does not process or store full payment card numbers through the Service. Payments are handled by third-party payment and e-commerce providers, including PayPro Global (https://payproglobal.com). Those providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may receive and store purchase-related information needed to deliver and support the product, including your name, email address, transaction ID, order status, invoice details, payment method label, product or license type, subscription status, and related tax or accounting records.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

• service providers and contractors that host, store, secure, analyze, process, or support the Service;
• payment processors, e-commerce partners, accounting providers, and tax or compliance vendors;
• analytics providers, including Google Analytics;
• professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors, accountants, and insurers;
• law enforcement, courts, regulators, government authorities, or other parties where required by law or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property;
• another company in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction; and
• other users or the public, if you choose to publish, share, or make content public through the Service.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some U.S. state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to include certain analytics, advertising, or cookie-based disclosures. Where those laws apply and where we engage in covered activity, you may have the right to opt out as described below.

User Content

Files and content you upload may include personal information. We process User Content to provide the Service, including storage, rendering, display, technical conversion, downloads, sharing, moderation, security, support, and backup. If you make User Content public or share it with others, that content may be accessible to other users or visitors and may be copied outside our control.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts, deliver licenses, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and preserve backups. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is retained.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete, de-identify, aggregate, or archive it according to our ordinary retention and backup practices, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

International Transfers

Light Engine is incorporated in the Republic of Armenia, and the Service may be provided using infrastructure, service providers, and personnel located in Armenia, the United States, the European Economic Area, or other countries. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than where you live.

Your Choices and Rights

You may update certain account information by logging into your account. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email, if available, or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages about your account, purchases, security, or the Service.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, portability of, or restriction of personal information, and you may have the right to object to certain processing or opt out of certain disclosures. U.S. State Privacy Notice

If a U.S. state privacy law applies to Light Engine and to your personal information, you may have rights such as the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share; the right to access and correct personal information; the right to delete personal information; the right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; the right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

We collect and disclose the categories of personal information described in this Privacy Policy for the business and commercial purposes described above. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no uniform industry standard for responding to these signals, and the Service does not currently respond to them. Where required by applicable law and technically supported, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for covered browser-based activities.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us at info@lighttracer.org, and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information or obtain appropriate consent where required by law.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Changes are effective when posted unless we state otherwise.
